Donor X is a secure online marketplace that matches research scientists with anonymous donors who meet the criteria for donating a sample to a research study.
Donors to get paid for donating samples like blood, urine, stool, hair, and more.
Anyone over the age of 18 who meets the screening and eligibility criteria can donate.
Donors will be matched with research studies automatically through the Donor x platform.
A scientist is studying diabetes and would like urine from 2 adults aged 18-65 who do not have diabetes.
The scientist needs 2 samples on Monday, April 7, 2025.
One sample will be collected at 8am and one sample collected at 8:05am.
If you're 18-65 years old and live within a set radius of the scientist, you'll receive an email or text message letting you know there is an open appointment.
You'll read the request and if you meet the criteria and can make it to the pre-set appointment time, you'll accept the appointment time that works for you.
After visiting the national lab and donating your sample, you’ll be paid online or mailed a physical check (the choice is yours).
You can supplement your income. By donating samples to research with Donor x, you can get paid for each donation. For example, by donating 4x in a month, you can make $400*.
